The story you share is the brand you create

From proudly wearing a bow every day in elementary school to stepping onto Clemson University’s campus, where orange tiger paws mark the roads, I’ve always been drawn to the power of a strong brand. Whether rallying a vote or encouraging a group to embrace a product, clear and compelling brand communication has the unique ability to unite and inspire action.

I first discovered the power of storytelling in branding as a staff writer for my high school’s journalism team. Tasked with featuring the music department, I brought much-needed diversity to our newspaper’s website, reinforcing the narrative that the Wildcats excelled across every activity. By consistently showcasing student musicians, highlighting rehearsals, and covering orchestra concerts, I helped reframe our website’s identity to better reflect the talents of all students.

This passion for connecting audiences with stories continued during my internship with Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer. There, I saw firsthand how storytelling and adaptability are essential to effective communication. When addressing rural voters, we emphasized Fischer’s ranching background, aligning her story with the values of her constituents.

Now, as the website designer for my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, I’m responsible for crafting a digital space that celebrates sisterhood, scholarship, and character. Through visually cohesive, user-friendly branding and engaging storytelling, I ensure that our values resonate with diverse audiences.

I’m excited to bring this same commitment to storytelling and brand strategy to future teams and projects.
